The Open Source Film Project is a collaborative and interactive approach to experimental filmmaking that incorporates elements of avant-garde performance art and immersive installation art. Over the course of 5 days, we will create an experimental film art piece from scratch utilizing the active participation of any and all members of the public who desire to contribute. The end result is entirely dependent on the inspiration and improvisation that the participants bring to this collaborative and immersive experience.

The finished film will be shown as part of the Art To Live First Friday event at Lyric Cinema on May 3rd, 2024. All participants will be credited as co-creators of the film.
