BFA Capstone Show: Roots and Ties
March 22 @ 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Come see four graduating artists’ capstone show; combining the works of 4 students who experiment and engage with various materials to explore concepts such as identity and environment – the ways in which we relate to our world, ourselves, and one another. Each artist presents a visually engaging body of work unique to their individual experiences, and it’s through these depictions of different experiences that conceptual themes of self and other (and the overlap thereof) are made clearer. By creating a show in this way, we challenge our guests to observe and reconsider the meaning of identity; how does it connect us, how does it separate us, and how does both happen simultaneously? Visit our exhibition March 22nd – 23rd between the hours 12pm – 6pm.
